Launch Kit

Take WOP to the App Store and Google Play

Everything the two stores ask for, produced here: device previews, screenshots at the exact sizes Apple and Google accept, listing text, and a launch video. The final upload still happens in App Store Connect and Play Console with your own developer accounts — the checklist below shows exactly what only you can do.

Route to both stores

1. Wrap the app for mobile

Publish the web app, then wrap it with Capacitor so it installs as a real native app on both stores. This is done once on your own computer.

One-off setup

2. Open the two developer accounts

Apple Developer Program is $99 a year and needs ID verification (a company also needs a D-U-N-S number). Google Play is a one-off $25 and needs an identity check.

You — allow 1-2 weeks for Apple

3. Build the installers

iOS builds require a Mac with Xcode; Android builds only need Android Studio on any computer. Both produce the file you upload.

4. Fill the listings

Use the metadata and screenshots generated on this page for App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

5. Privacy and content answers

Both stores ask what data the app collects, and Apple requires a privacy policy URL and an account-deletion path since the app has sign-in.

6. Submit for review

Apple review usually takes 24-48 hours; Google is often quicker but the first release can take several days. Money-making claims are the most common rejection reason, so the listing text here stays outcome-based with no earnings promises.

iOS & Android simulators

393 × 852 px — the real layout at this screen size

This is the live app at each device size. Store review still runs against a real build, so test the wrapped app on a physical phone before submitting.

Drop in a screenshot from the simulator above, add the headline, and download it at the exact pixel size the store requires.

Primary iPhone set — App Store Connect scales this down for smaller phones.

Listing metadata

Writes the name, subtitle, keywords, both descriptions and the release note — inside Apple and Google character limits, with no income wording that would get the app rejected.

Launch video

An 8 second spot for the store listing and your social launch. Apple accepts vertical previews recorded from the app itself, so use this one for ads and the Play listing.
